Ugh, time tends to fly by so fast when you're playing cribbage with Grandma. Sorry I'm late.
ROUND EIGHT: WORDSMITH
Come on in, guys! Heidi voted off last round. She became the first member of our jury.
Today's challenge will be a bit different... and it's a favorite from Tonga. Each person on the tribe will choose five letters of the alphabet. However, you may NOT choose a letter that someone else on your tribe has chosen. Meaning that two people on the same tribe cannot both use "A." You would want your spread to look something like this:
Person 1: AGPTW
Person 2: ILRSZ
Person 3: BCEOV
Person 4: DMNQU
Person 5: FHJKY
(This is a randomized example, I suggest that you don't use it)
The goal here is to make as many words as possible. Each member of the tribe will make a list using only their letters and no others (you may repeat the same letter in one word). So if you choose EFHNT, you MAY do "tenth" or "then," but you may NOT do "feat" or "there," since those include letters outside of the five you chose.
Please post which five letters you are using in a THREAD IN YOUR TRIBE CAMP AND IN YOUR CONFESSIONAL. Please create your list of words in your confessional (in the same topic as your letters). You are free to ask for help from your tribemates but may not post about it in your tribe camp - that thread is only for everyone to post their letters.
You will get one point for every LEGITIMATE ENGLISH word you have. I WILL be checking all suspicious words on dictionary.reference.com and will discount anything I don't find on there. Proper Nouns will NOT count, so please don't use them. The tribe that has the most cumulative points amongst all of its members will win immunity and will be safe from Tribal Council. They will also kidnap someone from the losing tribe - same rules as always. The rest of the losers have a date with us.
Given the holiday, this challenge will last 48 hours minimum; however, it will NOT last more than 72. It will probably take me some time to tally.
